The look: Forever 21 lavender blouse // J. Crew navy woven belt and jean shorts // Keds original champions in navy. This simple look was put together for a trip to the Raleigh, NC flea market with my Mom, Aunt, and Granny Mother's Day girls trip. I love to hunt for vintage treasures (while digging through some prehistoric junk); especially with a new apartment to fill within the next few months! So much excitement! What I love most about this outfit is the lightweight-ness of the top. It is the perfect style for a hot summer day to tuck into skirts, shorts, or even keep it untucked and loose. I am very in to tucking things in these days. Below I have posted a few examples of some perfect summer blouses that look fabulous both tucked & untucked. Whichever style you are more comfortable in is what you should rock! Be yourself!

The look: chambray sleeves top J. Crew Factory // skinny jeans AG Jeans // classic champion original Keds in navy // Ray Ban folding wayfarers The school year is coming to a close which means summer is quickly approaching. I absolutely adore this washed-look top for many reasons. 1.) I mean hello?? Did you SEE the collar?? 2.) it can be dressed up or down looking business-y with a pencil skirt or a sleek pair of slacks or looking casual with a pair of jeans (as pictured above) or thrown over a pair of bright colored shorts. It's versatile and lightweight so I could rock this top all day long. Go find yourself a fancy collared shirt because I received sweet complements all day long. I am definitely looking forward to seeing how many different ways I can style this beauty
The look: Cole Haan leather mustard crossbody bag // Citizens of Humanity rocket cropped jeans in a light wash // Tom Ford milan sunnies // Target leopard hair belt // Abercrombie & Fitch maroon long sleeve tee // vintage cocktail ring Happy second day of Spring! I love being able to retire the winter coats and boots for a few months and cuff up my sleeves and jeans. I've recently caught high-waisted jean fever and I've got it bad. They're comfortable and give your outfit a whole new look. I cannot wait to add more to my collection. Now that warm weather is here, I will have motivation to put together fun springy outfits so more to come!
The look: Autumn Cashmere fitted tunic // Lysse tight ankle leggings // Moon&Lola st. gallen necklace in black // Sweetie Pie Jewelry jett earrings in black // Jeffrey Campbell vintage flats // Vintage signet ring This look was photographed over Christmas break ("Good... we thought your family left the tree up for Cupid to see.") so the outfit may be a little too warm for your area. Despite the fact that spring in quickly approaching, I didn't want to leave this one off the blog. It's simply and cozy. The tunic is the perfect length to wear with leggings and it has the option to be scrunched up a little higher depending on your preference. the simple accessories work without blending in with the simple outfit. the tiny accents of gold dress the outfit up just in the slightest enough to be chic and casual. Finally, why not top it off with a sock bun?
With the combined help of my Mom & I's Valentines themed Pinterest boards, I have created for you the ultimate Pinterest Tuesday for the love struck, or the ones who just adore the red//pink color combo as much as I do. Some say these colors clash. Since they are analogous colors, meaning they are next to each other on the color wheel of fashion, these shades can definitely be paired together to complete some totally hot looks. Red and pink create a warm, exciting color palette that is bold and noticeable. On a scale of school uniforms to Lady Gaga's entire closet, it falls right in the very middle of exciting enough to turn heads without being called crazy! (psssst... You can absolutely still wear pink and red together even after the heart shaped candies go 50% off) Go be young and in love in style <3
The look: Jakett rugged moto jacket "josey" // Tibi beaded signature silk cami // Tom Ford cat eye sunnies // Revlon colorburst lip gloss in fire red // simple large silver hoops Let me introduce you to my new baby (insert kissy face emoji here, please) Every inch of social media is covered in leather jackets over the past month and I'll gladly contribute to this bad girl trend. Like I said in a previous post, It's like slipping on a whole new attitude with the jacket. Your life will only benefit from owning a black leather motorcycle jacket. A little bit of red lips doesn't hurt once in a while either, they're like the PB&J of the fashion world.
The look: J. Crew camel three-quarter sleeve sweater // Target flannel button down // Nell black and gold striped bubble skirt // Kate Spade gold flats // Tommy Hilfiger sunnies // Fornash twist earrings // House of Harlow wrap bracelet // House of Harlow leather chevron bangle // Urban Outfitters skeleton bone midi ring // Vintage black fold over clutch For christmas my mom gave me what it most likely the cutest present ever. Because I started my own fashion blog under the inspiration of the beautiful Blair Eadie (@BlaireEadieBEE // Atlantic-Pacific.blogspot.com) she put together an entire outfit inspired by a combination of her always glamorous looks. Love you Mom! The sweater is three-quarter sleeved so the flannel button down sleeves have been rolled up to meet the sweater. They are tucked into my bubble skirt that gives the look and extra dose of feminine. We all know patterned tights are my favorite so naturally I was very happy to see these tiny diamond print tights in my kit. The jewelry is to DIE for. I love the House of Harlow black leather and gold jewelry collection. The small amount of gold in my ears and on my toes brings the outfit home. It wouldn't be Blair Eadie inspired without a pair of sunnies to finish the outfit off. My blogging brings me happiness and I hope to only grow better with each post. My goal is to help others find their style and be happy with the way they dress. Blair inspires me and I hope she can inspire you too XOXO, Suzanna
The look: J. Crew 3-quarter sleeve sweater and the perfect shirt in pink check // AG Jeans the absolute legging in super black // Sweetie Pie Jewelry blair double ball earrings in gunmetal // Sheila Fajl large black stone ring in a silver setting // Lily & Laura glass beaded bracelets // Betsy Johnson sunnies I am truly sorry for my extremely long absence from the blog; I was so busy enjoying no papers, professors, or exams. I am back and have plenty of looks to share with you guys. Let's start with my new favorite one. This look is clean and simple. With a pallet of only three colors, this look is appropriate for many different settings. The sweater sleeves are only three quarter length sleeves, but I've decided to roll my undershirt sleeves up to meet the sweater. Rolled sleeves immediately create a casual, laid-back outfit. I am SO into layering right now. Expect more of it in future posts. Don't be surprised if I never take these jeans off as well. These are my new, comfy obsession <3 XOXO, Suzanna
These colors are less of a prediction and more of a set list of colors chosen by pantone for designers to keep in mind while creating their collection. Many pastels with a few bright colors to mix in. have fun! Tulleclick to be taken to the URBAN RENEWAL TULLE SLIP DRESS click to be taken to the URBAN RENEWAL TULLE MIDI SKIRT Any one of these Urban Renewal tulle slip dresses/tulle midi skirts from Urban Outfitters would fit right in my closet. I see tulle skirts slowly becoming just as acceptable to wear on the street as a ballerina twirling on stage. They're so much fun and whimsical, I would want one for every day of the week. This dress works by simple throwing a thick sweater or even just a solid top on over the slip half. Carrie from Sex & the City introduced the first street appropriate skirt to the public during the intro to her show; I guess the public wasn't quite ready to accept it in the early 2000's but 2014 is coming head on and I think it's ready to adopt the tulle skirt. Graphic Teesclick to be taken to SORRY I'M LATE SHIRT click to be taken to J. CREW THANK YOU SHIRT click to be taken to YOU CAN'T SIT WITH US SHIRT click to be taken to KATE SPADE DRESS TO IMPRESS SHIRT Graphic tee shirts are being worn by fashion icons and bloggers everywhere. The funnier/bolder the words, the better the tee shirt. Popular phrases from movies are attention grabbing and serious conversation starters. These shirts are large personality reflectors. They show your interests and can even help you find other people with your same interests by plastering words across your shirt, or purse (as designer Kate Spade often does). I'm excited to see these in big brand name stores such as J. Crew as well as personal online shops like Etsy. Don't be afraid to wear these thinking they're for younger girls. I say they're for all ages! Crop Topsclick to be taken to TOPSHOP METALLIC RED CROP TOP click to be taken to TOPSHOP SEQUIN SPLIT BACK CROP TOP click to be taken to TOPSHOP RUFFLED CREPE CROP TOP click to be taken to FOREVER21 BOLD STRIPES CROP TOP When crop tops started to become popular over the end of the summer, I will admit that I wasn't a huge fan of them. Mainly because the majority of the ones I saw were not being worn correctly. Crop tops are actually supposed to make you look taller by showing off a tad bit of what your momma gave you. Pairing a crop top with a mini skirt or booty shorts makes it look like you need to learn how to do laundry because your clothes shrunk in the wash. Crop tops are meant to be trendy and chic. They should be paired with high-waisted skirts, pants or a pair of shorts your mom would let you wear in front of your grandma. These are all four examples of stylish crop tops. Topshop has clearly mastered the art of the perfect, appropriate crop. Also not every crop top has to be form fitting like a body-con bandage dress. They can be boxy and still give off the illusion of a taller figure. I better start my sit-ups now in preparation for crop top season this summer. Three-Dimensional Effectsclick here to be taken to J. CREW MINI BOWS SWEATSHIRT click here to be taken to TIGERTEE POM POM SWEATER The quirky-ness of three dimensional pieces are so much fun. The best part about 3D pieces are they are also a simple Do It Yourself {DIY} project. It's as easy as taking an old sweater/tee shirt/skirt and sewing on something like pom-poms, jewels, or even bows however you choose to arrange them. Everyone wants there own one-of-a-kind piece that is special to them only. Metallicsclick to be taken to KATE SPADE RUMER DRESS click to be taken to AG JEANS METALLIC GOLD LEGGING JEANS click to be taken to SHOSHANNA JULIA TOP click to be taken to DV HILLA TOP AND SKIRT Metallics dominated the runway this past fall which means I see it in the upcoming year. Metallic pieces are PERFECT when you slip one in on an all black outfit. I think they're awesome for accenting features you like about yourself. If you have amazing legs for days, rock the metallic pants! Gold and silver aren't just jewelry colors anymore. They're certainly attention grabbers, so don't go too metallic crazy. No solid silver or gold outfits. Be sure to sprinkle them within the outfit or have ONE major piece in the outfit. Have fun with them without going overboard. Keep in mind these are only my projections and suggestions, people, dress in what makes you comfortable as well. Clothes are a reflection of your personality and make you, YOU! XOXO, Suzanna
The look: French Connection ruffle shoulder dress // Spanx tight-end tights reversible between black and dark brown // Cole Haan leopard print faux fur heels // Loren Hope bracelet trio {left to right}: Petra Cuff in midnight & electric purple, Sophia Cuff in electric purple, and finally (my favorite one) the Mara Bracelet. I love a nice dress, especially one that is cute and doesn't force me to to sacrifice my comfort. The material is very generous and high quality. I have had this dress for three years now and it is in just as great shape as when I received it. French Connection is one of my highly recommended brands. These shoes are definitely an outfit completer. They are perfect with tights and a dress for the daytime or skinny jeans and a cute top for the evening. I've also recently gotten into layering on the arm candy and I LOVE IT! It is an easy (and sometimes cheaper) way to bring color into an outfit. I love Loren Hope's steampunk meets glam thing she does with all her jewelry. Her line has a certain look that is easy to spot. The Mara bracelet is without a doubt my favorite; it is so easy to layer and not too in your face.
